Learning Java online with CodeGym is about to be even easier, as we’re launching our own app for Android to make your learning experience even more comfortable and practical for people on-the-go.
An increasing number of people want to learn Java programming, whether it be for a career change or in order to handle monotonous tasks or automate something in their home or at work. The problem is that most people simply do not have the time necessary to sit behind a desktop computer and learn. Whether it be work, study, sports, friends and family or other obligations, people are increasingly busy and cannot simply spend hours behind a computer in their free time.
These individuals need to be able to learn in short bursts and wherever and whenever it is convenient for them. That matches perfectly with the options offered by CodeGym. With an on-the-go app that can be used anywhere, 1200+ tasks and 600 mini-lectures, even the busiest learners can now find a way to learn how to program.
Writing dozens of lines of code on a smartphone is both tedious and uncomfortable and making this accessible on a smartphone posed an interesting challenge. That is why the CodeGym development team integrated a mobile IDE with a fully-featured system of auto-expands to ensure that coding is much faster on the small screen. If users are stuck or do not know what step to take next, they have the option to request a hint.
While the app may be exclusive to Android devices for now, CodeGym expects the release of a iOS version very soon.
