Well, this was a fine release with plenty of updates! Sorry for staying silent on our improvements, as we were busy with their implementation. But now’s the time to shed a light on some improvements which you may already noticed.
1. Interface changes
The first and most striking change is the transition to a wide format. Now the site is displayed in full width of the screen. Other, less visible details have also changed, and improve the usability of the site. The interface of the mobile version has also been upgraded.
2. Switching to Angular
Have you noticed how fast has CodeGym become lately? This happened because we did some optimization and switched to a modern Angular framework.
3. Smart search
The search on CodeGym platform has become global. You can look for the word / phrase / code fragment you entered throughout the site, and find whatever you need in the course lectures, tasks, comments, posts in Articles, or Help section — wherever it’s possible.
4. Input data for tasks
Run-time validation inputs have now been added for tasks in WebIDE.
5. IDE update
Thanks to this latest update, the environment for solving tasks on the CodeGym website (we’re talking about WebIDE) has become much more convenient. For example, now the condition of the task is visible from everywhere.
See for yourself! And stay tuned for our further updates.
